B Brian Atwood Shoe fab

As a blogger, sometimes the best thing you can do is go straight to the core, the message that you are trying to spread, without any beating around the bush. In this case, the message is : B Brian Atwood new collection is hands-down, thumbs-up, shoecravings-in freakin’ awesome. Beside the pumps I featured earlier, there are quite a few shoes that make me slobber all over my laptop. Here is a couple of them:

B Brian Atwood Fineday Metallic Leather Platform Mary Jane Pumps

I have earlier expressed my fear of wearing Mary Janes and sending wrong signals. When it comes to this shoe model, it is a thin line between sensual and “trying too hard the sweet but devilish school-girl image without realizing that her expiration date is long overdue”. Somehow, I do not think any of this would be an issue when wearing Fineday.

Next in the line is Fontanne:

B Brian Atwood Fontanne Suede and Snake-Print Leather Platform Pumps

Love them from the front and adore them from the back:

The devil’s in the details and when it comes to that, this shoe is pure candy for the eye from this angle. The snake embossed leather around it all is rich, the seam looks straight and well crafted (ehum the good people of Guess, ehum) and you can simply see that this is a well thought out shoe.

If you like the metallic look of the first shoe but think that the strappy design was a bit too much Barbarella for you, here is a simpler but definitely not boring alternative, Consort:

B Brian Atwood Consort Metallic Leather Asymmetrical Platform Sandals

Sometimes less is more and all it takes is an asymmetrical strap and copper metallic leather for ultimate and versatile party shoe, no?

Since desert should be saved for last, let’s wrap things up with some pink shoe candy, Fredrique:

Just as the other shoes, Fredrique can rock quite a lot of outfits but I would definitely love to see dark-blue skinnies contrasting to the bright pink.

Ah, the drooling again!
